Description

While on a fall trip to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado I spent some time in and around Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. One afternoon I took a drive out west to search out some Aspen groves which were in peak color at this time. I came across this view and the Jack Leg fence caught my eye. Beyond the fence lay grove after grove of Aspen trees, evergreens and then the mountains. The clouds added a crescendo to the symphony of textures and colors before my eyes. I got out my camera and tripod and composed the scene on my camera viewfinder. Wow! What majestic beauty lay before my eyes.
