The Mecca Bridge is a single span, Burr-arch Truss structure built by J.J. Daniels. When bids to build the Mecca Bridge were opened, they included William Blackledge, $8,000; James Moyers, $7,800; and J.J. Daniels, $7,650. J.J. Daniels was awarded the contract and completed the bridge in 1873.
