As the sun sets to the West the high Sierras turn a bright orange and Half Dome takes on a special glow. Taken for Washburn Point, this image invites the viewer to go on a visual journey from the foreground ledge to the waterfalls, valleys and mountains out to the snow capped peaks in the distance.
