The McAllister Bridge is a single span, Burr-arch Truss structure that was built by Joseph A. Britton and Son in 1914. This bridge was built during the height of J.A. Britton’s bridge building career. His sons were providing the bulk of the labor, as he was 77 years old the year McAllister Bridge was completed.
