Estimated to be over 350 years old, Missouri's largest bur oak tree is located near the town of McBaine in Boone County, Missouri. According to the National Register of Big Trees, which last measured the tree in 2006, the bur oak is 90 feet high, has a 130-foot spread and a circumference of 287 inches. It stands along a road and in the midst of soybean fields.
